Hope City Church of Colorado is a non-denominational Christian church in Aurora, Colorado, led by Pastors Marlon and Tamara Saunders. Launched on April 20, 2023. At Hope City’s Easter Services, we had over 3,000 members in attendance.
Hope City Church of Colorado is in the process of moving into a new 50,000+ square foot facility, located near I-225 and Mississippi Ave. Hope City plans on having its certificate of occupancy in September. Given a few weeks after our “first Sunday” in the facility we should be in a position to host the Service First Rides Shows Sunday afternoons thru Fall and Winter.
Hope City will be able to accommodate a significant number of Veteran & First Responder Vehicles inside Hope City and additional covered parking for vehicles at the adjacent Aurora Medical Center adjacent to Hope City’s entrance by Hope City’s loading bay doors.

Future home of the Service First Rides Show, bringing together veterans, first responders, exhibitors, and the public.
Hope City will have food service, and restrooms inside the facility, that can accommodate the large number of Veteran and First Responder Exhibitors, their spouses and the visiting car enthusiast public.
Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs) will have booths at the Service First Rides Show. The Hope City facility has a chapel that seats 300. Remove the stackable chairs, it’s an ideal size room to accommodate VSO booths.
VSO Booths at the show will include, Colorado state-level government agencies such as, the Colorado Division of Veterans Affairs (CDVA): The state’s central hub located in Denver, which trains county officers, and helps veterans navigate benefits and rights.
County Veterans Service Offices (CVSOs): Every county in Colorado maintains an office dedicated to providing free, local assistance with VA claims and appeals.
Colorado Veterans Project (CVP): A prominent Denver-based nonprofit that empowers veterans through meaningful career connections, employment events, and entrepreneurship.
Mount Carmel Veterans Service Center: Serving the Pikes Peak region (and rapidly expanding elsewhere), offering holistic support including behavioral health, transition assistance, and housing referrals.
Home Front Military Network (HFMN): A major Colorado Springs and Denver-area collaborative that connects transitioning service members and veterans to a vast network of community resources and emergency financial assistance.
Salute Colorado: A non-profit providing education, mentorship, and integrated career programs (like Valor Bridge) to empower military leaders to succeed in the civilian workforce.

Service First Rides 501 c
Adaptive Adventures, headquartered in Lakewood, Adaptive Adventures is a regular recipient and the largest grant awardee of the VA Adaptive Sports Grant Program. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) provides millions of dollars through this program to support community organizations that offer therapeutic, recreational, and competitive adaptive sports for disabled veterans and armed forces members. Adaptive Adventures uses these funds to run sports programs like alpine skiing, cycling, climbing, and kayaking at no cost to participating veterans.
